Nowadays in many countries, Online shopping is replacing shopping at store. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this trend?
At present online shopping is becoming more and more common in many retailer and regular customer shop. This trend provides an excellent opportunity to customers to shop from their home. Although many people find it easy to find out their desire products by using internet, some people still are afraid of using online marketing because of risks associated with its use.
A key welcome result of using internet for shopping is that it does not cost an arm and a leg. By what I mean that customers do not need to go store for shopping which enables them to save their transport cost without facing any quandary at roads. This option opens up new horizon for city dwellers who are preoccupied with their daily works. Nevertheless, people cannot explore the quality of products through online shopping. Many fraudulent companies intricate their web business online and people in the street often fall in dilemma to differentiate them. I feel that if people bought commodities from reputed companies, they would not feel remorse for their buying products.
Another undesirable consequence of this modern trend is unavailability. It is certainly true that internet is not begging everywhere in the world and people who are not technophile cannot cope up with this system. Many places of emerging countries like Bangladesh, India, Pakistan have experienced extremely poor internet connection and using internet for shopping purpose is out of the blue in these rural places. However, what I believe is that shopping is becoming more easy with the recent advancement of technology. As a result, more and more people come to an umbrella of online shopping from every corner of the world.
To sum up, everything has double folds and online shopping is of no exception. To downplay these stumbling blocks, we need to educate people how to avoid bad companies that run business in an unacceptable and unethical way. Once we could do that, we would get more benefits from online shopping without its drawbacks.
